Veteran Outreach Begins

Today, February 25th, we

are announcing our Veteran Outreach side of our organization. It will be an organization to connect veterans with plant medicines in Peru. Furthermore, this will be headed by my friend and USMC veteran Robert Kugler

When Rob and I first started talking Rob became immediately excited about what we were doing. Rob has done a lot of research on plant medicines like Ayahuasca and believes in their healing ability. For myself, I had first hand experience of how powerful they are.

I had been thinking about working with veterans in the Ayahuasca space for a long time and always thought it would be an amazing place to be. It seemed a little like synchronicity that Rob and I reconnected around the time we did. This reconnection gave us the impetus to reach out to veterans as part of this project, something that I would not have been able to do on my own.

Thanks so much to Robert Kugler for being part of this beautiful project. Rob has an extensive background in philanthropy working for causes that he deeply believes in. Here is a short description of Rob.

"Rob Kugler is a retired Marine Staff Sergeant turned Author/Photographer and now husband and dad of two young kiddos.

Rob has done everything from teaching Pre-K to working in a Max Security prison to being a garbage man to chasing the acting dream in Hollywood.

Though his careers have often changed, one constant has been his advocacy for others. Whether that be Veterans who are struggling or animals in need or anyone who needs lifting up, Rob helps as often as he can while humbly admitting that he is a work in progress himself.

Rob is attending Tiwaz Awakening retreat to put more of that self work in. He’s ready to dive deeper and hopes to gain a sense of grounding, to awaken his warrior spirit while also clearing creative blocks. Most importantly, Rob hopes to expel long lasting trauma carried from losing his brother in Iraq, sister in a car accident, and all that comes from a broken home childhood experience.

Staying true with his desire to help others, Rob is working to create a fund along with a small team of Marines to provide Tiwaz Brotherhood scholarships to Veterans and First Responders in search of healing outside of the American pharmaceutical industry."
