An Andean Side Trip

On my way back from my motorcycle ride from Cusco I saw a sign for a mirador (view point) that I have not seen before. So I took a left and went six kilometers up the mountain.

When I reached the top I met some Andean children who showed me around and told me about there Alpacas. The littlest boy said that two were his. One had the name Lucas and the other Chaska (Quechua for star). We walked around and I was told about the local villages and what crops why produced. They told me the name of all the villages that we could see from the view point. It was a fun little side track in the Sacred Valley of Peru
